Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how A Z H Builder Inc., doing business as AZH Builders ("AZH Builders," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit azhbuilders.com (the "Site"), fill out a form, call us, or text with us. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation or estimate, apply to work with us, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number and mailing or project address
- Project details, such as project type, scope, timeline, photos and notes you share
- Your communication preferences, including whether you agreed to receive text messages
- For job applicants, the information you choose to provide about your work experience
- The content of emails, calls, text messages and other communications with us
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the referring website, and the date and time of your visit. This may be collected with cookies, pixels or similar technologies.
Information from others. We may receive information about you from referral partners, general contractors, property owners or other people who refer you to us, and from public sources such as online reviews.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations and site visits, and prepare estimates
- To perform and manage construction projects and communicate with you about them
- To send appointment reminders, project updates and other service messages
- To send marketing messages, only where you have agreed to receive them
- To review job applications for our in-house schooling program and crews
- To operate, secure and improve the Site and our services
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you messages about your inquiry, appointments, estimates and projects, and, if you opt in, occasional promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented or shared with any third party, except with service providers that help us deliver our messages (such as our texting platform and wireless carriers).

4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management (CRM), phone and texting platform, website hosting, form and scheduling tools, and email providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Project partners, such as subcontractors, suppliers, engineers or inspectors, only as needed to complete your project.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as to comply with law, legal process or government requests, or to protect the rights, property or safety of AZH Builders, our customers or others.
- Business transfers, such as in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Cookies, embedded content and Do Not Track
The Site uses a small number of third-party tools: contact forms provided by our CRM platform, embedded YouTube videos (loaded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode only when you press play), job-site videos, and web fonts. These providers may set cookies or receive technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as forms, may not work without them.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, although we do not sell or share personal information.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide warranty service, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal and licensing requirements. We then delete or de-identify it.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on the Site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and California privacy rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we have about you, or ask for a copy of it
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal information
- Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) or text messages (reply STOP)
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete and correct personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, email info@azhbuilders.com or call 619.202.0679. We will verify your identity before responding and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not.
9. Children
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as Google, YouTube or the Contractors State License Board. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
